"Heads up: the migration has been a mess"
I used sho.com for years and never had many issues with it. It was simple, I could log in, find my shows, and manage my subscription without thinking about it. But ever since the service changed and moved over, everything feels way more confusing than it needs to be. My login and subscription details are all over the place, and finding shows I already watched has turned into a hassle.
Just a warning if you’re thinking this will be an easy switch: it really wasn’t for me. Support gave me the usual canned responses and nothing actually got fixed. It feels like they made the change and just expected customers to deal with the fallout. At this point, it’s more frustrating than it’s worth

I tried to cancel twice and somehow still got charged anyway. When I reached out to support, it felt like they just kept sending me in circles instead of actually fixing it. compared to other services where you just... yeah, this was way more annoying than it needed to be.

"Love the shows, but the app is such a headache!!"
I really like the shows on here, but the app has been frustrating for me. It works on my phone sometimes, but it just won’t load properly on my older smart TV. I’ve also tried casting, and it keeps freezing, which gets old fast!! At this point, it’s just not worth the hassle for me

"Smart TV app is almost unusable"
Trying to use SHOWTIME on my smart TV has been super frustrating. The app freezes constantly, takes forever to load, and then sometimes just randomly dumps me back on the home screen, no warning, no error, nothing.
I’ve already tried the usual stuff, restarting the TV, deleting and reinstalling the app — but it’s still the same mess. It’s hard to justify paying for it when I can’t even watch a show normally without buffering or crashing

"They actually never have the new stuff"
I’ve noticed new releases always seem to show up late here. It’s kind of frustrating when you’re looking for something new and they actually don’t have it yet.

"Way Too many promo emails"
I signed up one time and now they just keep Sending me deals nonstop. I tried unsubscribing, but it didn’t stop right away, which was Annoying honestly...

"App is honestly frustrating"
Using the sho.com app has been such a hassle. It freezes on me when I’m just trying to browse, and finding episodes takes way more effort than it should. I also keep getting randomly logged out, which gets old fast. For something I’m paying for, the whole thing feels outdated. I ended up giving up and watching on something else.

"Pretty lame lineup"
The selection is just weak. I kept scrolling like the “so much to watch” hype squad promised something amazing, but it felt more like a bargain-bin movie night. Not enough good stuff to keep me interested

"Stream kept bugging out"
I was trying to watch Dexter and the app kept buffering or straight-up booting me back to the menu. My Wi-Fi was totally fine because I switched to Netflix right after with no issues. Kinda sucks to pay for this and still not get a steady stream.

"Pricing was confusing"
I signed up thinking I had a clear idea of the monthly price, but then extra charges and taxes showed up that I swear weren’t obvious before checkout, haha. Maybe it was buried in the fine print, but it felt a little sneaky to me. In the end, canceling was kind of the only easy decision.

"Sound is all over the place"
the audio on sho.com has been rough for me. The voices are way too quiet, then suddenly the music blasts like crazy. I was constantly messing with the volume every few mins, which gets old fast. Tried a couple different shows and even switched browsers, but nope, same issue. For something I’m paying for, thats just annoying. Ended up canceling because I don’t wanna deal with fighting the sound every night.

"Documentary selection was a letdown"
I mainly signed up for SHOWTIME because I wanted to watch documentaries, but the section is weak. The selection feels really small and kind of outdated, and most of the stuff I was hoping to find just wasn’t there. I thought about reaching out to customer service, but I don’t really trust that they’d do much besides send some canned response. Overall, it was disappointing and not something I’d keep paying for.

"Can’t log in half the time"
I swear I can never get logged in when I actually need to. Half the time it just doesn’t work and I end up trying over and over, which is super annoying tbh...

I had such a hard time finding anything. I kept clicking through menus that just sent me in circles, and after a while I was like, give me a break. It shouldn’t take that much effort to get where you need to go

"Sports coverage kept cutting out when I needed it most"
I was trying to watch a live game and felt pressured because everyone was reacting before I could even see what happened. The stream kept lagging and cutting out, and I ended up missing a few big moments. Frustrating when live sports is the main reason I tuned in

I signed up for the free trial just to test it out, but my experience wasn’t great. The actual issue for me was canceling, it felt more complicated than it needed to be. After dealing with that, I didn’t feel like it was worth the hassle, even as a free trial.

I spent around 10 minutes trying to set up my account, but it just kept failing without giving me any clear reason. Tried it a couple of times and still got nowhere, which was frustrating.

"I signed up for SHOWTIME mainly because..."
I signed up for SHOWTIME mainly because I wanted to watch the original shows, so that’s really what I judged it on. After spending some time with it, most of the originals felt slow and kind of recycled to me. There were a few scenes and moments I liked, but not enough to make me want to keep paying for it. In the end, the experience just didn’t feel worth it for me.
